National Railcards can give you up to 1/3 off the price of a train ticket so for people who use the trains often, it can mean a huge saving.

Senior Railcard

If you are 60 years old or over, this gives you discounted rail travel on many rail fares. You can buy these online provided you have a valid UK passport or driving licence to use as a means of proving your age.

Disabled Persons Railcard 

If you are disabled and find rail travel difficult, this gives you discounted fares. If you have hearing or sight loss you may also qualify. You could also qualify if you have epilepsy or receive a benefit related to a disability. In addition to a discount for yourself, another person who travels with you can also get the same discount.

To apply, you can download an application form from the website. You should send this back to the listed address with proof of your disability.
