Gateshead's Anti-Graffiti team operate throughout the borough to remove racist or obscene graffiti within 24 hours of it being reported.
The team use a Council vehicle equipped with some of the latest and most environment-friendly anti-graffiti technology.
Under delegated powers, the Head of Regulatory Services authorises Neighbourhood Wardens and Supervisors to exercise enforcement powers relating to the issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices when dealing with Littering, Fly Posting and Graffiti.
