You need to take particular care of your house in cold weather. Tenants of The Gateshead Housing Company can report HomeRepairs on 0800 408 6008 until 7pm weekdays, until noon on Saturdays and 24 hours a day for genuine emergencies.
Gateshead Housing Company tenants can report non emergency repairs in the usual way using the Housing Company's online form|.
The repairs service for heating is operating but dealing with emergencies only; read the latest information|.
The Housing Options service provide advice on a range of housing related matters, homeslessness and debt advice. To access the service between normal working hours (Mon-Thurs, 8.45am-5pm & Fri, 8.45am-4.30pm) contact 0191 4332616.

Gateshead Warmzone - House Insulation
Gateshead Warmzone is working in partnership with Gateshead Council to provide insulation for all households in the Gateshead area. Cavity wall insulation is currently free of charge and loft insulation is free for certain qualifying households. Those who don’t qualify can take advantage of heavily discounted loft insulation from £99.
