Waste permit
These facilities are not available for the receipt of trade waste.
If you use a van, pick-up or tow a trailer, you need a permit to deposit waste at any of Gateshead’s Waste and Recycling Centres. For further information please visit our Permits| page.
In addition, facilities are provided each year to convert Christmas trees into chippings which can be used as a mulch in local parks and gardens and woodlands.
