Our compost scheme

Home Compost Bin
A home compost bin

At least 30% of your household bin could be composted – start today!

We have teamed up with the Recycle Now national campaign to help all residents compost at home.

Choose from 2 different sized bins – at bargain prices – and order through the dedicated helpline.

Why compost?

Watch your garden grow

By composting your household waste you can give your plants and homegrown vegetables and natural boost and create a garden to be proud of!

Reduce landfill

A lot of people think that kitchen waste like peelings break down in landfill so there is no need to compost. But this isn’t the case!

Organic waste that is sent to landfill is unable to break down or decompose as, squashed under all the other waste, it doesn't have access to any air.

So instead methane, a powerful greenhouse gas, is produced that contributes to global warming.
