The Schools' Music Service, following national guidelines operates an Assisted Purchase Scheme to enable pupils who are in full time education in Gateshead Schools to purchase musical instruments with a substantial discount. It is only available to pupils having tuition through the Gateshead Schools' Music Service.
The price includes educational discount and VAT is not applied. Any instrument for the personal use of the pupil except pianos can be purchased.
The Music Service makes a £10 administration charge for this service.
