The Orchestra is run by experienced string teachers from Gateshead Schools’ Music Service and plays a wide range of music.  Gateshead Strings regularly performs at concerts locally and has also performed at venues in France and on many occasions at the Sage Gateshead.

Joining Gateshead Strings will also provide the opportunity to meet like minded musicians, make new friends and work together in a friendly and supportive environment.
