Highfield Primary School

In March 2003, Gateshead Council provisionally received £62million of PFI credits to invest in developing new school buildings.

The seven school PFI programme joins other plans for new schools in Gateshead, including the new Edmund Campion RC Secondary School in Whitehills, and a number of secondary school developments under a partnership scheme with South Tyneside under the Building Schools for the Future| initiative.
