Gateshead's Governor Support Service

Governors form one of the largest voluntary groups in the country. They offer a rich variety of skills and life experiences and as a core group are accountable for providing the very best care and education for each and every young person in their school.

If you are interested in becoming a school Governor you can fill in our request form for further information|.

The Gateshead Governors Support Service (GGSS ) combines a Clerking Service together with information, guidance, training and development for new, existing Governors, School Leaders and School Governing Bodies.
