Family Learning Festival October 2008
Gateshead Family Learning will be holding a variety of different workshops across the borough throughout October to celebrate the Campaign for Learning's Family Learning Festival. There will be plenty to do at our fun filled events including a family fun day, wii championship, mask making and willow weaving. Please check below for further details and how to book.
Adults must accompany children and children must accompany adults for all activities.
Saturday 4th October
Willow weaving at Saltwell Park 10.30am to 1.30pm, bring a packed lunch along and meet at the stable block. Call Family Learning 0191 4338678 to book a place.
Friday 24th October
As part of the Big Picture party and Get-on line Campaign come along to Blaydon Library 10.00am to 11.30am (suitable for children under the age of 5) where there will be lots of activities to participate in. Call Family Learning 0191 4338678 to book a place.
Saturday 25th October
Family Fun event at the Elgin Centre, Carr Hill 11.00am to 2.00pm. Take part in clay crafts, recycled weaving, Wii championship, music making and much more. Call Family Learning 0191 4338678 to book a place.
Monday 27th October

Tuesday 28th October
Monster Madness at Leam Lane Children's Centre, Leam Lane 10 - 11.30am. As a family make a wacky monster outfit and join in with a stomp parade. Call Family Learning 0191 4338678 to book a place.
