If you answered YES to any of these questions then we may be able to help with a pre-apprenticeship course. The course will help you with the skills you need to develop your career, and make you better prepared to find a full employed apprenticeship.
The pre-apprenticeship course:

Lasts for 17 weeks and leads to a recognised qualification

Gives you the chance to take part in work experience and participate in the functional skills training that will count towards your apprenticeship

Helps you prepare you for interviews and applying for a job

Pays you an allowance of £25 per week for full attendance
The course comprises three main parts:

Vocational learning (study of an occupational area), including work placements to help you decide what you want to do

Personal and social development building your confidence
-
Functional Skills - English, Maths and ICT up to Level 2
Pre Apprenticeship Programmes are available in the following areas:

Car Valeting

or any occupation you choose - we will try to find a placement
What next?
We can also progress you onto a full apprenticeship through our contacts with employers. When we find a vacancy we will prepare you for the interview and if you are successful we will support you throughout the programme as you work towards your apprenticeship qualifications at Level 2 or Level 3.
