How to vote

You have a choice about how to vote at an election.

  • You can vote in person at a polling station on Election Day;r
  • You can choose to vote by post;
  • You also have the option in certain circumstances to choose someone else to vote on your behalf as a proxy. Either by post or in person at a polling station on Election Day.

Remember your vote is private. You do not need to tell anyone whom you have voted for!
