The Council’s services are delivered through five groups as shown below:

Community Based Services;

Development and Enterprise;

Learning and Children;

Local Environmental Services;

Central Services.
Within each of the five groups are a number of services, each run by a Head of Service who takes responsibility for the day to day running of the service and the management of employees.
The Management Structure
The Council’s senior management comprises:
Development and Enterprise, Learning and Children and Local Environmental Services also have Directors, who work with the Group Directors and Heads of Service on major issues and projects and help join up work across Service areas.
