Chief Executive

The Chief Executive, Roger Kelly, leads and has authority over all other employees and is responsible for:

• Providing strategic advice and arranging other advice to the Council, Cabinet and all other Council bodies;
• The strategic management of the local authority providing advice and support to elected members;
• Developing and maintaining key relationships with strategic partners and other agencies and bodies.

The role is supported by the Assistant Chief Executive, Jane Robinson, who also manages the Chief Executive's Department.

A small team of staff directly supports the Chief Executive and Assistant Chief Executive.
