The Organisation Development Service in Gateshead sits within the Legal and Corporate Services Department, and is responsible for Workforce Development, Culture Change and Capacity Building within Gateshead.
The team develop and implement the Councils People and Organisational Improvement Strategy, and a range of initiatives designed to support delivery of Vision 2030 and make Gateshead a great place to work (Initiatives which support transformational leadership/360 degree appraisal, culture change, capacity building, communications, employee engagement, performance/project management, recognition, efficiencies and mobile working and development of a learning organisation. They also manage the commission and delivery of corporate learning and development provision
