What are RSS Feeds

What are RSS Feeds?

RSS Feeds let you get the latest news, events and roadworks information in one place as soon as its published, without you having to keep visiting the Gateshead Council website.

How do I use them?

You will need a piece of software called a news reader.  This is a piece of software that checks the RSS feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added.

For more detailed information we recommend the really useful guide on the BBC Website|
