David Gray performed live at The Sage Gateshead on Friday 11 December 2009 and was outstanding.
David performed in Hall One in front of hundreds of fans; performing some much loved songs from his multi-platinum Album 'White Ladder', these included 'This Years Love', 'Sail Away' and 'Babylon'. He also performed songs from his new album which included the brilliant 'Full Steam'
The venue at The Sage Gateshead was amazing, and the intimate feeling of the Hall made the night even more special. The Venue created a great feeling and made the acoustics come alive.
Slick lighting and loads of reverb on his vocals made for a dramatic show and some of Gray's vocal work was staggering such as the big notes he let rip during 'Sail Away,' 'Ain't No Love' and 'This Year's Love'.
The night was a huge success and it was still surprising to see how humble David was at the response he received from the crowds after each song.
