From Blackpool to Marseille, Spain to Canada, our little angel adventurers have been doing some serious traveling as well as spreading the word about one of our most famous landmarks.
As part of the Angel's anniversary celebration, pupils from ten local schools were given tiny replica Angel knitted dolls to take on an adventure during their summer holiday.
The dolls were lovingly hand made by people from the Marquis Way Centre which provides a day service for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
Armed with a camera and diary, the pupils were asked to record their holiday adventures and take a photograph to illustrate their diary entry.
Of the ten schools taking part, Chopwell Primary School's diary was judged to be the winner. The pupils who took part will now enjoy their own mini-adventure as a prize - a day out at Whickham Thorns Activity Centre.
The ten schools who took part were: Bill Quay Primary, Brandling Primary, Carr Hill Community Primary, Gibside School, Chopwell Primary, Corpus Christian Catholic Primary, Harlow Green Community Primary, Oakfield Infant, Rowland's Gill Primary and St Joseph's Catholic VA Primary.

Linda Green, cabinet member for culture at Gateshead Council said: "There were some really great entries so congratulations to Chopwell for such an exciting travel diary.
"It was obvious that the children had fun taking the angel dolls on holiday and I know the people in the Marquis Way Centre really enjoyed making them. This is another way of celebrating ten years of this amazing landmark and spreading the word about the Angel of the North."
