Business Continuity Management

The Civil Contingencies Act 2004| requires local authorities to have plans in place to ensure that it can withstand a wide range of disruptive challenges. This means that Gateshead Council needs to have advanced plans in place to make sure that it can continue to provide normal services to the Community during an emergency.

The Council is currently developing its plans.
