What are Your Views on our Children’s Services?

  • You may want to pay a compliment to someone who has helped you
  • Suggest ways in which we could do things better
  • Make a complaint about something you are unhappy with

We welcome your comments it gives us a chance to take a fresh look at our Children’s Services with the aim of improving them where we can.

However, if you are unhappy with the services you receive, you have the right to complain.

We take all complaints seriously and try to resolve them quickly where possible.  We encourage people who use Children’s Services to tell their problem to the member of staff that they know best first. However, if they cannot help, you can get in touch with Social Care Customer Services who can advise you about the complaint procedure and assist you in making your complaint.

Social Care Customer Services are not involved in the day-to-day running of services. They make sure that workers do not investigate complaints about themselves and that the complaint is investigated fairly and thoroughly.   All complaints are treated seriously and in the strictest confidence.
