The Supporting People Programme is committed to providing a better quality of life for vulnerable people enabling them to live more independently.
The Supporting People Programme links to the vision set out in the Gateshead Community Strategy with “Local people realising their full potential, enjoying the best quality of life in a healthy, equal, safe, prosperous and sustainable Gateshead”. The Supporting People Programme is seen as a key tool in improving the lifestyles and opportunities of local people in helping to the deliver the vision.
