Day Opportunities provide support to people with learning disabilities, over the age of 18 and who are assessed as eligible under Fair Access to Care
Gateshead Council provide a number of Day Centres across Gateshead. Each service is different, dependant upon location, environment and the needs and choices of the people who use the service
The focus of Day Opportunities is to work with individuals and support them to achieve their aspirations and lead a fulfilling life. Each service aims to provide flexible, person centred support that will enable people to access a range of opportunities and live a life of their choice. We will do this by ensuring everyone who uses Gateshead Council's Day Opportunities has an outcome focused support plan, outlining their needs, wants and wishes.
