Gateshead Children and Young People's Trust
Gateshead Children and Young People's Partnership fulfils two main functions.

To meet the requirements of the Children Act 2004 that agencies must co-operate to improve the well-being of all children and young people.

To act as a theme partnership for children and young people within Gateshead Strategic Partnership's family of partnerships.
The role of the partnership is to:

Recommend to Gateshead Strategic Partnership the strategic priorities for children and young people's services

Advise on the content of the Children and Young People's Plan and monitor delivery

Promote issues relating to children and young people in Gateshead

Consult and engage with children and young people in Gateshead

Review the partnerships and working groups that currently operate and agree improved governance arrangements
