and has either:

  • communication difficulties;
  • mental health problems;
  • severe illness;
  • other difficulties.

Then the Gateshead Network of Children with Disabilities is for you.

Joining

It's really easy to join. Call on the number opposite and we will arrange for someone to visit you to complete the Network membership form, or send you a form to complete yourself, if you prefer.

Membership benefits include:

  • Regular newsletters to keep you up to date with what's happening locally and nationally. We will send you information on service developments and local events as and when it becomes available;
  • All members are invited to have their say on changes to services through consultation meetings and/or surveys;
  • Contact with families who have similar conditions as your child, to share experiences and support;
  • a parents/carers resource pack when you join with information on Social Services, Health and Education, and the services available in Gateshead.
