If you give a job to an unemployed Gateshead resident we may be able to give you a subsidy to help pay the salary.
If your business is in the town centre or East Gateshead you may get a subsidy of:

£60 for staff aged between 18-24;

£75 for staff over the age of 24;
This subsidy is paid for a maximum of 26 weeks.
