Building Cleaning Service provide a cleaning service to over 260 buildings over Gateshead, Tyne and Wear and Northumberland including:

• Gateshead Schools and Public Buildings
• Northumbria Police Authority
• Northumberland National Park
• Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts
• Gateshead & South Tyneside Health Authority
• The Gateshead Housing Company

We can also offer a range of services for an additional charge including:

• Barrier Matting
• Decontamination by Ozone Technology – eliminates odours in problem areas
• Independent inspection service
• Assistance in compiling cleaning specifications
• Chemicals/machinery
• BICS training courses
• Repair and maintenance service for caretakers cleaning machinery.
• Emergency call-out cover in the event of fire, floods or any other emergency which may result in schools/buildings not being able to open.

Highest level of service:

We aim to provide the highest level of service to all our users. Our performance compared to other similar building cleaning organisations can be viewed in the Performance document on the right hand side. We offer:

• The provision of fully trained staff to ensure service delivery including sickness cover.
• In addition to the employees on site, customers also have a dedicated Area Supervisor and the support of the Operations Officer and Building Cleaning Manager.
• The provision of appropriate high quality materials and equipment which is all maintained and testing to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• The operation of a quality monitoring programme to ensure the service delivered meets customer requirements and resolution of queries.
• Conformance with all health and safety legislation including COSHH, risk assessment and manual handling and lifting.
• In-house and external training and development.
• Insurance cover and claims handling.
• Sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning. This service can be tailored to each individual building at an additional cost.

 

What can you expect from us:

In order to keep the high standards we provide we promise:

 

• We will provide a consultation service for all our customers on cleaning issues.
• Our supervisor will make a regular site visits and will make contact with each customer to resolve any issues.
• We will provide quality inspections to review the standards provided and issue a bi-monthly satisfaction card for each customer to provide us with feedback on how we are doing.

Building Cleaning were made runners-up of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) Training Centre of the year
