The Stonehills Complex provides a range of Central Services to assist the development of the businesses. All services provided by the Complex must be cost recoverable and use is totally at the discretion of the management of the Complex. None of these services is obligatory - any tenant has the right to provide their own resources at their own cost.
1. Telephone
The small business units only are linked to a Siemens Hicom 130 Telephone System providing a telephone answering facility when tenants are off site. Each unit has an individual extension number.
There will be no charge to be linked to the system.
Outgoing calls
These are connected through a computer call logger which records the duration and classification of the calls made on each extension on the system. This provides the information for an accurate monthly bill to be prepared in arrears for each tenant. There is no charge for internal calls on the system.
To cover the running costs of the system i.e. line rentals and system maintenance a small premium is added to the metered pulse.
Incoming calls
These are answered at reception as Stonehills and then transferred to the extension required. Calls, which are not answered within 1 minute, automatically return to ring at reception so that a message can be taken. This helps to give new businesses professional credibility from the outset.
Tenants should notify reception when leaving the site and check for messages on return. All messages are entered in a book kept at reception.
2. Fax
Each tenant is provided with a four-digit code to enable them to use the fax machine. The machine is then able to log all transmissions made by each tenant for preparation of bills.
All incoming faxes must be entered in the Fax Record (kept near the fax machine) before removal from the fax tray. Incoming faxes placed in tenants' mail boxes have already been entered in the Fax Record by Stonehills staff.

3. Photocopying
Charges are as follows:

Each tenant is provided with a code to enable them to use the photocopier. The photocopier is then able to log the number of copies made by each tenant for preparation of bills.

6. Postage
The Royal Mail provides a delivery service to the main office at the Complex from Monday to Friday. Mail is sorted into tenants' mail boxes located in the Central Services Unit and is normally available for collection by 9.15 am.
The Complex has arranged for a postal collection service by the Royal Mail. This is normally made from 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. A franking service is available in the Central Service Unit. Post should be left in the correct tray and clear indication should be given if any special service is required e.g. recorded delivery. All post should be clearly marked with the name of the tenant and be left in the Central Services Unit by 4.30 pm to allow for accurate recording.
To cover franking costs and Post Office collection charges a levy of 15% of the cost of the stamp is added.
7. Word Processing/Computing
The Complex offers a Word Processing and Desk Top Publishing service at the following charges:
