Gateshead Building Control service has joined with other Local Authorities to develop the Submit-a-plan portal|.
This means you can submit Building Regulation applications over the internet.
You will be able to complete an on-line application form and send us electronic copies of your plans. At the moment you cannot pay the fee 'electronically', on-line payments will be available soon. So, for now, payments still need to be made by cheque, or debit card.
