Building Control

You may want to:

  • build your own house;
  • build your own commercial building, shop, or office;
  • carry out internal and external alterations, extend your building, or replace or add new window frames;
  • convert (or change the use of) a building or part of a building;
  • alter, replace or install a controlled service or fitting;
  • create (or alter) a dwelling or flat in an existing building.

But, in order to do any of the above you may need approval under the building regulations.
