Gateshead Trinity Square Car Park
Trinity Square

Spenhill, the commercial development subsidiary of Tesco, shares Gateshead Council's vision for the future of your town centre - to build on the regeneration successes at Gateshead Quays by bringing opportunities and investment into the town centre.

The aim is create facilities and services for the benefit of everyone visiting, living and working in Gateshead.

Situated in the heart of the town centre, Trinity Square will bring over multi million pound investment into the area and act as a catalyst for bringing further regeneration in the town centre.

The future

This is a significant step towards the future of Gateshead's centre and the delivery of a modern centre that people have told us they want. Elements of the 3.5 hectare site could include:

  • Offices;
  • Apartments;
  • A Tesco store;
  • Cafes and restaurants;
  • Other leisure uses such as a cinema;
  • A Hotel;
  • Health facilities;
  • Car parking.

Look out for further details yourtrinitysquare.co.uk|, the new website about the scheme for local people.
