Students take a close look at their neighbourhood
This resource pack gives teachers some easy-to-use and interesting exercises to get their students thinking about their neighbourhoods.
Our communities are changing so it's important to help young people understand how and why their neighbourhoods are being regenerated.
Who can use it?
The pack is designed for teachers of students in primary school years 5 and 6.
It's based on Bensham and Saltwell and uses examples and places from throughout the neighbourhood.
The packs help students investigate their communities
