CLASS C - the property is both unoccupied and unfurnished (Exemption allowed for up to 6 months only. Please be advised that the 6 month period applies to the property and not each new liable person e.g. if a property has been empty for more than 6 months and you purchase the property you cannot apply for this exemption)

CLASS D - the property has been left empty by someone who has gone to prison.
-
CLASS E - left empty by someone living in a hospital/care home;
