Café
Relax and enjoy a bite to eat in the café. Offering a wide range of refreshments including deli sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, pizza, homemade cakes, speciality coffees and so much more.

Crèche
Why not drop off the kids at the crèche whilst you enjoy one of the many activities on offer at Gateshead Leisure Centre.

Fitness Classes
At Gateshead Leisure Centre a full range of fitness classes are available for all levels and abilities. Whether you’re looking for high impact exercise to burn off calories or a more gentle class to strengthen and tone we have something for you. Gym
The 650sqm gym features state of the art equipment with iPod connectivity, touch screen technology and USB connection to the Virtual Trainer website where you can create, download and track workouts. To arrange a visit to view the gym and the other areas of the centre contact Reception.

Sauna & Steamrooms
Relax and unwind following your workout in the sauna or steamroom available poolside or by the gym. Ask at Reception for details.
Sports Halls
Gateshead Leisure Centre Sports Halls are available to book for activities including Badminton, Basketball and 5-a-side. For further information contact Reception on 0191 433 5733
Swimming Pools
After all of these activities why not cool down in one of the three pools, including our 6 lane, 25m main pool, or relax in the sauna and steam rooms which are available both poolside and by the gym. See our pool timetable| for more information.
Wi-fi Hotspots
At Gateshead Leisure Centre you can access the internet via a wi-fi connection throughout the building (not including the swimming pool areas). To get access just register at Reception.
Electric Car Charging Points
The North East’s Plugged in Places project (PIP) will create a comprehensive network of electric car charging infrastructure across the North East region within the next three years. At Gateshead Leisure Centre you will find standard charging points with each charging point allowing a single phase 32A 240V supply. The time taken to fully charge a car with a 3kw standard charger is eight hours and with a 7kw standard charger four hours.
